Description

The Fiber Optic Fast Connector SC/APC is a field-installable mechanical connector designed for fast and efficient termination of single-mode fiber cables in FTTH and FTTx network deployments. It provides a quick solution for fiber termination without the need for fusion splicing, making installation faster and more cost-effective.

This connector uses the SC/APC interface, which is widely used in GPON, EPON, and telecom fiber networks where low reflection and stable optical performance are required. It is commonly used for terminating drop cables at subscriber premises, ODP boxes, and fiber distribution points.

The fast connector is designed for simple field installation and does not require polishing. Its internal mechanical splice structure allows rapid termination while maintaining low insertion loss and good return loss performance.

It is compatible with standard single-mode drop cables, including 2.0mm and 3.0mm cable types, making it suitable for a wide range of fiber installation environments. The reusable design also makes it practical for maintenance, repairs, and field adjustments.

This connector is widely used in FTTH last-mile installations, ISP customer connections, telecom maintenance work, and fiber repair applications where quick deployment and reliable performance are important.
