Description

The VSOL 8-Port GPON OLT is a carrier-grade Optical Line Terminal designed for building and managing high-capacity FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and FTTx broadband networks. It serves as the core aggregation device that distributes fiber internet from the ISP backbone to multiple end users via optical splitters and ONTs.

With 8 GPON ports, the device supports large-scale deployments of up to 1024 ONTs depending on network design and split ratios. Each port delivers up to 2.5Gbps downstream and 1.25Gbps upstream, ensuring stable and high-speed bandwidth distribution across many subscribers simultaneously.

The OLT includes high-speed uplink interfaces such as 10G SFP+ ports and Gigabit Ethernet ports, enabling seamless integration with ISP core routers and backbone networks. This ensures efficient and reliable data transmission between upstream internet sources and end-user connections.

A key advantage of this model is its Layer 3 routing capability, supporting protocols like RIP and OSPF. This allows the OLT to handle routing functions in addition to switching, improving flexibility and reducing dependency on external routers in ISP deployments.

It also offers full remote management through Web GUI, CLI, SNMP, and TR-069, allowing network administrators to configure, monitor, and maintain the system efficiently from a central location.

Built in a standard 1U rackmount chassis, the VSOL 8-Port GPON OLT is designed for continuous operation in demanding ISP and enterprise environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term performance.
