Description

The Bare Fiber Optic Splitter 1x8 is a passive optical component used in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and FTTx networks to distribute a single optical input signal into 8 output channels. It is built using PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology, ensuring stable performance, low loss, and high reliability in telecom and ISP infrastructures.

This 1x8 splitter is designed for single-mode fiber networks operating in the 1260–1650nm wavelength range, making it fully compatible with modern GPON and EPON systems. It provides consistent signal distribution across all output ports, ensuring uniform performance for multiple end users.

The bare fiber (steel tube) form factor allows easy integration into splice trays, fiber distribution boxes, and ODP enclosures. It is commonly installed inside fiber optic closure systems or distribution boxes where space efficiency and organized fiber management are required.

With low insertion loss and low polarization dependent loss, this splitter maintains signal quality over long-distance fiber networks. It is completely passive, meaning it requires no electrical power, making it highly reliable and maintenance-free.

This 1x8 splitter is widely used in ISP last-mile fiber deployments, FTTH distribution networks, telecom infrastructure expansion, and broadband access systems where a single fiber line needs to serve multiple subscribers.
